Wintex Agro · Thisted, Denmark

We develop and build automatic soil samplers that take the same sample, at the same depth, every time. From the driver’s seat, in every soil, on almost any vehicle.

Working worldwide, we know virtually every soil type and geological condition, and the strict requirements for collecting samples and documenting them. Systematic sampling is the basis for that documentation, for better soil quality and for site-specific fertiliser management.

Even large areas are sampled fast, efficiently and precisely. We build our equipment to be economic, highly reliable and easy to use, with minimum maintenance.

The principle

A probe, not a drill.

Every Wintex takes its samples with a probe. That is why each sample is completely homogeneous.

A soil drill always takes more material from the top layers than from the lower ones, and that skews the analysis. A probe cuts the same volume from every centimetre, at exactly the same depth, stick after stick. The result is a sample the laboratory can trust, and a fertiliser plan you can build on.

The range

Seven samplers. One principle.

Designed to take the strain out of sampling and make it fast, accurate and cost-effective. Mounted on virtually any vehicle, run from the driver’s seat, with few wearing parts and low running costs.

Carrier vehicles

Mounts on almost anything.

ATVs, UTVs, pick-ups, tractors, tracked carriers and trailers. Quick couplings on and off, and every function from the driver’s seat. These are our customers’ own machines.

Your down-to-earth partner

Built by a farmer who was tired of sampling by hand.

Torben Vinther, farmer and agronomist, built the first automatic sampler in 1996. Thirty years on, Wintex samplers work on every continent, and since December 2024 Wintex Agro is part of the Swedish technology group Sdiptech. Torben still develops the products in Thisted.
